What does the fit check do?

It reads the size chart you paste from a store, compares it with your measurements or usual size, and suggests which size to order, a fallback size and the fit risk. It is a second opinion for when your measurements fall between two rows.

Is my data stored?

Your text is sent to Vercel AI Gateway to generate the answer and is not stored by SizeGuide. The item, measurements and usual size are remembered in your own browser so you don't have to retype them; clear them any time on the privacy page.

Why not just use the converters?

Use them first; they are instant and exact for standard conversions. The fit check helps when a brand has its own chart, you sit between sizes, or you want to weigh stretch and cut.
